XTEN token explained: what Extended has announced
Extended, a perpetual-futures exchange, has announced a token called XTEN. This guide lists what is announced, what is not, and how to stay safe. It is not a promise of any reward.
What is announced
- Ticker: XTEN. Issuance is planned for November 2026.
- Genesis supply: 1 billion XTEN.
- Community allocation: 300 million XTEN (30%) for eligible participants in the Extended Points programme.
- Eligible participants are to receive XTEN for free, in a self-hosted Arc wallet (a wallet you control yourself).
- A white paper prepared under the EU MiCA rules has been notified to authorities. It was due on October 31, 2026 and was reported delayed by a few days.
What is not confirmed
- An exact TGE date, and a claim date. Claims are not open yet.
- Who exactly is eligible. Not every user or points holder will qualify.
- How the other 700 million XTEN (70%) will be distributed.
- What XTEN is used for after you receive it.
Stay safe
The announcement says there is nothing to pay. Anyone who asks you to pay a fee, send crypto or share your seed phrase to "claim XTEN" is a scammer. Use only links from Extended's official site or account.
