Extended points explained: the 70M cap and the XTEN token
Extended is a perpetual-futures exchange running a points program ahead of an expected token. This guide explains how its points work and what is, and is not, confirmed. It is not a promise of any reward.
How the program works
- Season 1 started in April 2025 and is still running.
- Points come from trading, depositing into vaults and referrals.
- Total points are capped at 70 million after anti-abuse adjustments. By October 6, 2026, about 69.2 million had been distributed.
- Per Extended's official docs, weekly points distributions have ended. A final distribution is due after its Final ARC Trading Competition.
What Extended has announced about the token
- The ticker is XTEN, with issuance planned for November 2026.
- Genesis supply is 1 billion XTEN. 300 million (30%) is for eligible points participants. Not every user will qualify.
- Eligible participants are to receive XTEN for free, in a self-hosted Arc wallet.
- Tokenomics and a white paper were due October 31, 2026 and were reported delayed by a few days. As of this update there is no exact TGE date and claims are not open.

What to keep in mind
Extended is real trading with real money, so fees and losses are possible. Points can be removed for wash trading, multi-account abuse or bots, and points never guarantee a token. Nobody should ask you to pay to claim XTEN.
